Batch orders
  • Repeting, rejecting - If the order fails to be entered on the due date (e.g. because of insufficient funds on the account), we will still try to enter such order repeatedly in the course of the next two business days. If the entry is still not successful (sufficient funds are not replenished to the account), we will reject the order after repeated attempts during the two business days.
  • Overnight Processing - At least two attempts in the course of the next two business days will be made (this applies for non-conversion orders).
Processing modes
  • Online
    • A batch sent in the online mode will be “broken up” into individual orders that will be sent for processing on their due dates (collections to other financial institutions one day before their due dates). The system of is used for processing these orders (with the exception of collection orders in CZK to other banks - these are not added to the multi-round processing system). Those orders that were not booked due to insufficient funds will no longer be sent in a batch for night processing; they will be rejected just like standard online payment orders. In these orders, not all non-accounting data is transferred.
    • Orders processed online, regardless of the selected mode of processing of the batch:
      • Foreign currency payment with conversion
      • express payments in CZK (only until 14:00 of the current day)
      • collections to other financial institutions
      • payments to the debit of term accounts
      • payments to the credit of term accounts
      • SEPA Direct Debits
  • Batch
    • In the batch mode, a batch is sent to the bank, where it is “broken up” into individual orders. On their due dates, orders with the current due date will form batches and these will be sent for processing (for collections to other financial institutions, these collections are sent two business days before their due dates - only online). In these payment orders, the bank guarantees transfer of all non-accounting data.
  • Continuous
    • If a batch is sent in the continuous mode of processing, the batch will be “broken up” into individual orders that will be sent for clearing on their due dates. They do not enter the system of multi-round processing of orders. In this mode, processing is not finished by rejection of the payment; batches of non-booked orders with current due date will be created and sent for night processing. In these payment orders, the bank guarantees transfer of all non-accounting data. If a batch is authorised after 6 pm in the continuous mode, all orders of this batch will be accounted on the next business day.

The value date is the date of recording to accounts of another bank at KB or to accounts of KB at another bank; the Due date is the date Komerční banka records the order to the payer's account at KB. Urgent payments can be created in selected currencies only. Payments to KB Bratislava may be sent as "Express" only. Payments in any of the currencies shown in the list can be created as express. • Daily - Every calendar day, only one direct debit payment can be executed.
  • Weekly - A direct debit payment can be taken from the account on the 5th calendar day from the last direct debit payment at the earliest (i.e., for 4 days from the day the last direct debit payment was executed, all requests for direct debits will be rejected).
  • Monthly - A direct debit payment can be taken from the account on the 25th calendar day from the last direct debit payment at the earliest (i.e., for 24 days from the day the last direct debit payment was executed, all requests for direct debits will be rejected).

  • Other - If you select this option, you must enter a specific number of days between direct debits. The settings only apply to changes to the ordres that have been set to this frequency in the past.
  • Examples:

0 - Every calendar day, any number of direct debit payments, each up to the entered limit, can be executed. We recommend this value in cases when more than one direct debit request can be sent to your account from a single counteraccount (electricity, gas payments etc., if you pay for multiple consumer locations, payments to mobile operators, if you pay for multiple phone numbers, payments to school dining room, if you pay for more children etc.).
1 - Every calendar day, only one direct debit payment can be executed.
25 - The account can be debited once, on the 25th calendar day at the earliest, where the 25th calendar day passed from the last direct debit payment (i.e. for 24 days from the day on which the last direct debit payment was processed, all requests for direct debiting of the account will be rejected). This interval is recommended for payments to be direct-debited once in a month (longer interval is not suitable due to "short" February, or the direct debiting date can be moved - Saturdays, Sundays, holidays).
30 - A direct debit payment can be taken from the account once, on the 30th calendar day from the last direct debit payment at the earliest (i.e. during the 29 days from the day the last direct debit payment was executed, all requests for direct debit from the account will be rejected).
180 - A direct debit payment can be taken from the account once, on the 180th calendar day from the last direct debit payment at the earliest (i.e. during the 179 days from the day the last direct debit payment was executed, all requests for direct debit from the account will be rejected).
360 - A direct debit payment can be taken from the account once, on the 360th calendar day from the last direct debit payment at the earliest (i.e. during the 359 days from the day the last direct debit payment was executed, all requests for direct debit from the account will be rejected).

Note: When setting the value of monthly direct debit payments, the lower number of days in February must be taken into consideration (28 or 29 days). The recommended setting for monthly direct debit payments is 25 days.
